 Locations

We are daily on the lookout for new locations to keep our shoots fresh and interesting. Locations are customised to the shoot to reflect your brand ethos and aesthetic. Once you book in to shoot with us, we can share this list with you. Often we come up with something new for you once we learn a little more about your brand.

Do you provide the props for the shoot?

We will chat about this at length in our discovery phone call. We have arrange of props for business shoots, however we also like to keep things fresh for each new business. Depending on the feel we are heading towards with your shoot, you may have some props which you can bring along and we may need to source some new items too. If it’s something we already have, there is no cost for you, it’s all part of the service. If new items are required, you will need to source and purchase these. Don’t worry too much about this now, we will drill down on this further after we plan the shoot.

Are studio hire or fees for locations included in the cost of the shoot?

No, They aren’t.  Hire fees are an additional cost which we pass onto the client. The exception to this is for our headshot days and shoots where we will shoot more than one business on the same day at the same location, then we can reduce and share the cost of the studio hire. Sometime we are able to shoot the products in our home studio, there is no cost for this. Studio fees only apply if there is an external studio we need to book specifically for your photo shoot.

Can you organise hair and makeup?

We sure can. We’re lucky enough to know the best in Perth after working in this industry for over a decade. Depending on the shoot style and outcome we are wanting to create, we prefer to custom recommend makeup and hair stylists who will deliver the best outcome for your shoot.

Do you think we should have makeup and hair done professionally for the photo shoot?

This is ultimately up to you. However, if you are going to the effort of investing in the marketing of your business, you want to make the most out of it and feel as confident as possible in front of the camera. Good makeup doesn’t mean heavy makeup, it can be natural and make the most of your features and we all feel better after having our hair professionally done !!

We recommend mobile hair and makeup artists to save you time on the day. Most of the time, they are doing hair and makeup on the location while we are setting up to shoot. It makes the day so much easier, you just turn up and voila !!

I need my photos done quickly, how soon are you available?

Our availability varies throughout the year. Once you decide to book, let us know you need a quick turnaround on the photos, we are usually able to fit your shoot in within a month and from there can turn the images around for your website quite quickly. If you are needing just a few images done for press, (newspaper/publications) we can usually turn these around overnight.

Payments and installments

 There is 50% of the payment due at the time of booking and 50% at the completion of the job. Final imagery is not provided to the client until the entire account has been settled. Payment can be made by credit card or e.f.t, we also have payment plans if you prefer.

 Editing

Imagery is edited in a natural way, so as to not age over time. You don’t want to make an investment in your marketing now and two years on, the images are obsolete because they have some crazy filter on them which has aged them and rendered them useless. We edit for style and time… These images will not date due to the editing of them.

 If you decide you would like to have objects and people added or taken out of an image, or doves flying all around you like a prince video clip, we can do all of this. We have a brilliant in house digital editor. There will be an additional charge for this type of retouching. It’s not always required but it’s great to know that if it can be done in Photoshop we know how to do it well.

How will I know what photos I need?

We will help you with this. The whole process is made as easy and as stress free as possible. Firstly we will ask you to fill in our questionnaire (TEO I NEED TO PAY FOR THIS, I will need a questionnaire which matches the site) .

 From here we plan your shoot. This may include locations, suggested outfits, models and or staff, timings. Planning based on sunlight etc. We ensure everything is planned beforehand so on the day of the shoot, we make the most out of your investment and give you the most creative and relevant content possible.

I don’t like having my photo taken, how will you make me look good?

Making the most out of a person’s figure by helping them to position their body and capturing you from the right angle with the most complimentary lens is what we do really well. We can look at you and know how to make you look good !!. Please don’t fear the shoot, most people don’t love being in front of a camera and it’s our job to help them to feel at ease. We will bring the humour and do whatever it takes to get the best possible imagery for your business.

Nine

Do you travel to other places out of Perth?

Yes absolutely, particularly to the south west and regional W.A. often we have other shoots scheduled, so it’s worth asking and if we do we can share and often forfeit the travel charge. Don’t hesitate to ask us on adventures, we love to travel.
